Denosumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody which is used to treat osteoporosis and has been shown to cause hypocalcemia in patients with underlying prostatic and bone malignancies, renal impairment, postmenopausal state, and/or vitamin D deficiency. We present a case of a male patient, with a past medical history negative for the aforementioned conditions, who presented with right shoulder pain and was found to be severely hypocalcemic secondary to denosumab.

Purpose: To characterize preprocedural coronary atherosclerotic lesions derived from CCTA and assess their association with in-stent restenosis (ISR) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective cohort-study included patients who underwent CCTA for suspected coronary artery disease, subsequent index angiography including PCI and surveillance angiography within 6-8 months after the index procedure. We performed a plaque analysis of culprit lesions on CCTA using a dedicated plaque analysis software including assessment of the surrounding pericoronary fat attenuation index (FAI) and compared findings between lesions with and without ISR at surveillance angiography after stenting.

Congenital sucrase isomaltase deficiency (CSID) is a rare autosomal recessive monogenic disorder of small intestinal malabsorption and manifests typically in early childhood with chronic osmotic diarrhoea. Though there have been case reports in adults presenting with hypercalcemia and renal calculi in CSID, this is quite rare in children. We hereby report a 6-year-old boy who presented with recurrent episodes of calcium oxalate calculi without any gastrointestinal symptoms and was confirmed as having sucrase isomaltase deficiency by genetic analysis.
