This work describes the development of highly sensitive as well as simple two spectrofluorimetric methods for the determination of apramycin sulfate. The first method depends on measuring the inherent native fluorescence of the aqueous neutral solution of the drug at 388 nm (λ 335 nm). While the second method mainly based on enhancing the native fluorescence intensity of the drug using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) micellar media by about 4 fold enhancement. The fluorescence intensity - concentration relationship for the two methods was found rectilinear over the concentration range 1.0-100.0 and 0.1-20.0 μg/mL for the first and second method respectively. The limit of detection for method I and II were 0.05 and 0.02 μg/mL respectively. The proposed methods can be effectively connected for the assurance of the medication without impedances from common normal excipients. Furthermore, the two methods were high sensitive enough for the assurance of the drug in spiked milk samples with high percentage recoveries.

An efficient probe (E)-2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)-3-(9-ethyl-9 H-carbazol-3-yl)acrylonitrile (CZ-BTZ) for selective fluorescence "turn-on" response with cyanide (CN) ion sensor was developed by simple Knoevenagel condensation of 9-ethyl-9 H carbazole-3-carbaldehyde with 2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl) acetonitrile. This study introduces a novel synchronous spectrofluorimetry coupled with chemometric tools for the determination of tenofovir and dolutegravir antiretroviral drugs. Utilizing partial least squares regression (PLS) fine-tuned by genetic algorithm as variable selection tool, the developed models demonstrate greater sensitivity, cost-effectiveness, and reduced environmental impact compared to traditional HPLC methods. The model's validation was further confirmed using external validation in addition to QC samples as per ICH M10 guidelines, which yielded high accuracy ranged between 94.

Clonazepam, a high-potency benzodiazepine widely prescribed for seizure and panic disorders, carries a risk of abuse and dependency. This study developed a sensitive and selective spectrofluorimetric method for determining 7-aminoclonazepam, the major metabolite of clonazepam, in human urine. A 2 factorial design was employed to screen the optimal conditions for derivatization with NBD-Cl as the fluorescent label, considering factors such as pH, reagent volumes, temperature, and reaction time.
