Objective: The life expectancy of women increases with the advancement in modern medicine, leading them to spent about two decades in menopausal state along with its associated complications. The process of aging triggers a deleterious cascade of physiological changes in the body. Hence, the aim of our study is to determine the effects of both aerobic and anaerobic exercises on estrogen level in postmenopausal osteoporotic females.
Methodology: A randomized control trial was conducted among 94 postmenopausal osteoporotic females, randomly divided into two equal groups. The participants in Group A were assigned to perform aerobic exercise, whereas Group B performed resistance exercises. Each group performed exercises for 12 weeks, whereas reading was collected for blood estrogen level, fat mass, and muscle mass before exercise training and after 12 weeks of training.
Results: Twelve weeks of aerobic and anaerobic exercise program based on the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM); frequency, intensity, time, and type protocol has beneficial effect on estradiol level and lean mass, whereas inversely correlated with fat mass of postmenopausal osteoporotic female.
Conclusion: The study concluded that 12 weeks of exercise programs was found to be effective in improving estradiol level of postmenopausal osteoporotic female. The efficacy of anaerobic exercise was found to be more potent on estradiol level and lean mass than aerobic exercises as only 36 sessions of resisted exercises performed during a period of 12 weeks provided more significant result than 72 session of aerobic exercises.

Purpose: This trial aimed to investigate the efficacy of Migu capsules in treating osteoporotic low back pain.
Patients And Methods: In this single-center trial, we randomly assigned patients with osteoporotic low back pain that had lasted for 3 months in a 1:1 ratio to receive Migu capsules alongside Caltrate D in treatment group or to receive Caltrate D only in control group, both for 48 weeks. The primary outcome measure was the intensity of low back pain on a visual analog scale at 24 weeks after enrollment.

The neuropathic characteristics of pain occurring after an osteoporosis (OP)-related fracture are often under-recognized. The aim of this pilot study is to identify, in patients suffering from pain localized on the site of a previous osteoporotic fracture, the presence of neuropathic characteristics, their medical management, and their impact on quality of life. This pilot cross-sectional study on consecutive patients in University Hospital, Rheumatology Department, Clermont-Ferrand, France, was approved by the Ethics Committee (IRB number 2023-CF34).

Background: Recently researches have reported that miRNA and its target genes are associated with osteoporosis. MiRNA and mRNA might be potential diagnostic markers for osteoporosis.
Purposes: The aim of this study is to explore the potential miRNA and mRNA markers by bioinformatics method and clinical analysis.

Unlabelled: The FRAX® algorithm showed good accuracy in women living with DM followed in primary care. There were no differences between the ROC curve with and without adjustments for major and hip fractures. The FRAX® 10-year and FRAX® AR were better calibrated in this population.

Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) have increased hip fracture risk. And the association between urine albumin to creatinine ratio (ACR) and an increased risk of hip fracture in patients with T2DM remains controversial. This study aimed to investigate the association between urinary ACR and hip fracture risk in postmenopausal women and aged men with T2DM.
