A moving ground-target recognition system can monitor suspicious activities of pedestrians and vehicles in key areas. Currently, most target recognition systems are based on devices such as fiber optics, radar, and vibration sensors. A system based on vibration sensors has the advantages of small size, low power consumption, strong concealment, easy installation, and low power consumption.

An electromagnetic vibration energy harvester with a 2:1:2 internal resonance (IR) is proposed, allowing for the simultaneous activation of two IRs within the system in order to enhance its performance in terms of bandwidth and harvested power. The device consists of three magnetically coupled oscillators separated by an adjustable gap to tune the system eigenfrequencies and achieve a 2:1:2 IR. Numerical investigations are conducted to predict the behavior of the proposed device, and a multi-objective optimization procedure is employed to enhance the harvester's performance by introducing mass perturbations.

Multilayer piezoelectric stacks, which are multiple layers of piezoelectric materials placed on top of each other, are widely used to achieve precise linear movement and high-force generation. In this paper, a dynamic stiffness (DS) method for the dynamic vibration analysis of multilayer piezoelectric stacks is presented. First, the general solutions for all physical quantities of the three vibration contributions (i.

In practical engineering applications, the vibration is often generated in various directions and can be harmful to the engineering equipment. Thus, it is necessary to develop vibration isolators that can reduce vibration in multiple directions. In this paper, we propose a planar two-dimensional vibration isolator based on compliant mechanisms.

The main protease (Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 is an evolutionarily conserved drug discovery target. The present study mainly focused on chemoinformatics computational methods to investigate the efficacy of our newly designed trifluoromethyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole amide derivatives as SARS-CoV-2 Mpro inhibitors. Drug-likeness ADMET analysis, molecular docking simulation, density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics simulation methods were included.
