In patients with drag-induced jaw osteonecrosis which developed in cancer patients due to administration of bisphosphonates for metastases, the microflora of the oral cavity was examined by chromatography-mass spectrometry (HMS). The method of HMS can be used as an additional method of diagnostics in complex clinical cases with ineffective treatment.

A novel series of N-(4-cyano-1,3-oxazol-5-yl)sulfonamides have been synthesized and characterized by IR, H NMR, C NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and chromato-mass-spectrometry. The anticancer activities of all newly synthesized compounds were evaluated via a single high-dose assay (10 μM) against 60 cancer cell lines by the National Cancer Institute (USA) according to its screening protocol. Among them, compounds 2 and 10 exhibited the highest activity against the 60 cancer cell lines panel in the one-dose assay.

Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers in women with pronounced stages of precancerous lesions. Accurate differential diagnosis of such lesions is one of the primary challenges of medical specialists, which is vital to improving patient survival. The aim of this study was to develop and test an algorithm for the differential diagnosis of cervical lesions based on lipid levels in scrapings from the cervical epithelium and cervicovaginal canal.

Research of cancer progression mechanisms and their impact on metabolism of tumor cells and tumor microenvironment cells is an important element in drug development for cancer target therapy. In this study, changes in tumor tissue and margin tissue lipid profiles, were associated with the following clinical and morphological characteristics: tumor size, cancer stage, multifocalite, tumor grade, number of lymph node metastasis, Nottingham prognostic index, total malignancy score, level of Ki67 protein. Lipid profiling was performed by reverse-phase chromato-mass spectrometry analysis of lipid tissue extract with lipid identification by characteristic fragments.

Described in the paper are results of comparative examination of urine by the methods of immunochromatographic express analysis (ICA), fluorescence-polarization immune analysis (FIA) and of thin-layer chromatography (TLC) made for the purpose of detecting consumers of hemp products. A high specificity and a good sensitivity of the methods were demonstrated, which is a basis for using them as preliminary tests in detecting cannaboids and their metabolites in urine. The methods were evaluated quantitively and qualitatively versus the etalon method of chromato-mass-spectrometry.
