A framework for hardware trojan detection based on contrastive learning.

Sci Rep

December 2024

Electronic Engineering College, Heilongjiang University, Harbin, 150080, China.

With the rapid development of the semiconductor industry, Hardware Trojans (HT) as a kind of malicious function that can be implanted at will in all processes of integrated circuit design, manufacturing, and deployment have become a great threat in the field of hardware security. Side-channel analysis is widely used in the detection of HT due to its high efficiency, non-contact nature, and accuracy. In this paper, we propose a framework for HT detection based on contrastive learning using power consumption information in unsupervised or weakly supervised scenarios.

The current manuscript presents a mathematical model of dengue fever transmission with an asymptomatic compartment to capture infection dynamics in the presence of uncertainty. The model is fuzzified using triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs) approach. The obtained fuzzy-fractional dengue model is then solved and analyzed through fuzzy extension of modified residual power series algorithm, which utilizes residual power series along with Laplace transform.

Health event prediction is empowered by the rapid and wide application of electronic health records (EHR). In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), precisely predicting the health related events in advance is essential for providing treatment and intervention to improve the patients outcomes. EHR is a kind of multi-modal data containing clinical text, time series, structured data, etc.

The Effects of Reverse Nordic Exercise Training on Measures of Physical Fitness in Youth Karate Athletes.

J Funct Morphol Kinesiol

December 2024

Institut Supérieur de Sport et de l'Éducation Physique du Kef, Université de Jendouba, Le Kef 7100, Tunisia.

In karate, the ability to execute high-velocity movements, particularly kicks and punches, is heavily dependent on the strength and power of the lower limb muscles, especially the knee extensors. As such, this study aimed to evaluate the effects of an 8-week eccentric training program utilizing the reverse Nordic exercise (RNE) integrated into karate training compared with regular karate training only on measures of physical fitness in youth karate athletes. Twenty-seven youth karatekas were recruited and allocated to either RNE group (n = 13; age = 15.

Background And Aim: Large number of studies proved undisputable role of procalcitonin (PCT) in sepsis diagnosis. Moreover, potential of procalcitonin to predict blood culture results according to Gram staining, different types of pathogens and foci of infection is discussed lately. The primary aim of our study was to compare the PCT levels in septic patients with documented Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteraemia.
