Agricultural waste or agro-waste, including natural fibers and particles from various crop parts, is increasingly recognized as a significant contributor to environmental issues. However, from a circular economy perspective, these materials present an opportunity to be repurposed into new, eco-friendly products. The present study, specifically focuses on understanding the effect of different factors, such as the particulate loading and the size (coir and hBN - 1 to 5 wt%; Coir Powder size (100-200 μm) of the particles on composite's corrosion rates and water absorption properties.

Introduction: The study of attention has been pivotal in advancing our comprehension of cognition. The goal of this study is to investigate which EEG data representations or features are most closely linked to attention, and to what extent they can handle the cross-subject variability.
Methods: We explore the features obtained from the univariate time series from a single EEG channel, such as time domain features and recurrence plots, as well as representations obtained directly from the multivariate time series, such as global field power or functional brain networks.

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have shown significant potential in the medical field, although many applications are still in the research phase. This paper provides a comprehensive review of advancements in augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and virtual reality (VR) for surgical applications from 2019 to 2024 to accelerate the transition of AI from the research to the clinical phase. This paper also provides an overview of proposed databases for further use in extended reality (XR), which includes AR, MR, and VR, as well as a summary of typical research applications involving XR in surgical practices.

This study examined lecturers' teaching competencies at universities in the attempt to improve the teaching and learning process by considering students' perspectives. Specifically, the study examined indicators of lecturers' teaching competencies in universities as well as establishing whether there is a relationship between students' perceived lecturers' teaching competencies and students' demographic parameters. The study used a cross-sectional survey design to generate data from 422 undergraduate students from three public universities in Tanzania using a questionnaire.
