- a global threat, the recent breakout in MDR-TB and XDR-TB has challenged researchers in diagnosis to provide effective treatment. The main objective to combat drug resistance is to provide rapid, reliable and sensitive diagnostic methods in health care centres. This study focuses on development of an effective pipeline to identify drug resistance mutations in whole genome data of Mycobacterium tuberculosis utilizing the Next Generation Sequencing approach and classification of drug resistance strains based on genetic markers obtained from TGS-TB, tbvar and TBDReamDB. 74 isolates are characterized into 20 DR-TB, 16 MDR-TB, 16 XDR-TB and 6 nonresistant strains based on known drug resistance genetic markers. Results provide mutation pattern for each of the classified strains and profiling of drug resistance to the group of anti-TB drugs. The presence of specific mutation causing resistance to a drug will help set the dosage levels which play an important role in the treatment. Findings on amino acid changes and its respective codon positions in candidate genes will provide insights in drug sensitivity and a way for discovery of potent drugs. The implementation of these approaches in clinical setting provides rapid and sensitive diagnostics to combat the emerging drug resistance.

Doxorubicin, a widely used anthracycline antibiotic, has been a cornerstone in cancer chemotherapy since the 1960s. In addition to doxorubicin, anthracycline chemotherapy medications include daunorubicin, idarubicin, and epirubicin. For many years, doxorubicin has been the chemotherapy drug of choice for treating a broad variety of cancers.

Research into the role of probiotics-often referred to as "living supplements"-in cancer therapy is still in its early stages, and uncertainties regarding their effectiveness remain. Relevantly, chemopreventive and therapeutic effects of probiotics have been determined. There is also substantial evidence supporting their potential in cancer treatment such as immunotherapy.

The Varroa destructor (hereafter referred to as Varroa) is a major pest of honeybees that is generally controlled using pyrethroid-based acaricides. However, resistance to these insecticides has become a growing problem, driven by the acquisition of knockdown resistance (kdr) mutations in the mite's voltage-gated sodium channel (vgsc) gene. Resistance mutations in the vgsc gene, such as the L925V mutation, can confer resistance to pyrethroids like flumethrin and tau-fluvalinate.

Introduction: The synergistic combination of histone deacetylase inhibitors and platinum-based medicines represents a promising therapeutic strategy to efficacy and overcome drug resistance in cancer therapy, necessitating a comprehensive on their molecular interactions and clinical potential.

Areas Covered: The objective of presented review is to investigate the molecular pathways of platinum medicines and HDAC inhibitors. A comprehensive literature review from 2011 to 2024 was conducted across multiples databases like MEDLINE, PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Scopus and official websites of ClinicalTrial.

Unlabelled: is an opportunistic pathogen capable of causing severe infections in immunocompromised individuals, who often require prolonged antibiotic therapy. The emergence of carbapenemase-producing has further complicated the management of nosocomial infections, limiting therapeutic options. Cefiderocol has recently emerged as a promising antipseudomonal agent, using the bacterial iron transport system to gain entry into the cell; however, there have been reports of resistant to cefiderocol.
