: To compare the success rates and safety of transscleral cyclophotocoagulation (TSCPC) for the treatment of refractory glaucoma using the slow coagulation technique and the conventional technique. : A retrospective, interventional case series of 44 patients (44 eyes) who underwent TSCPC using the slow coagulation technique (22 eyes) and conventional technique (22 eyes) in a tertiary hospital was done. The main outcome measures were success and complications. Success was defined as a final intraocular pressure (IOP) between 6 and 21 mmHg with or without IOP lowering medications with the cessation of oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitor at 12 months. : Preoperative characteristics were statistically similar with regard to age, sex, laterality, diagnosis, IOP, and the number of glaucoma medications used. Both procedures had similar success rates of 40.9% and 36.3% in the conventional technique group and slow coagulation group, respectively ( = .757). The slow coagulation group had less prolonged anterior chamber inflammation ( = .048). : Diode laser TSCPC using the slow coagulation technique is a safe and effective technique for lowering IOP in patients with refractory glaucoma in Chinese eyes.

Slow transformation efficiency of Fe(III)/Fe(II) limits the generation of radicals in peroxymonosulfate (PMS)-based advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), and these radicals was easy to be interfered by the presence of water constituents. In addition, in-situ coagulation during this oxidation process was neglected. This study proposed Fe(II)/PMS-Mn(VII) in the presence of chlorides ions (FPMC) process to reveal multiple promoting effects of Mn on redox cycle of Fe(III)/Fe(II) and different reactive mechanisms of Cl on types of radicals generation pathways, and the in-situ coagulation enhanced mechanisms was investigated.

Facilitating swift burn wound healing while effectively preventing scar formation continues to be a considerable challenge in medical practice. In this study, an injectable carboxymethyl chitosan/oxidized dextran/polyvinylpyrrolidone/dopamine (COPD) hydrogel was designed for the effective sequentially promotion of burn wound healing and inhibition of scar formation. Introduction: This study was conducted to determine the specific features of the mutual influence of the immune and haemostatic systems in immunohaemostasis, the role of immune reactions in the regulation of blood coagulation, and the efficacy of modern methods of treating thrombosis and bleeding.
Methods: The study analysed relevant scientific sources on immunology and haematology and identified the specific features of the blood clotting process and the role of immune reactions in it.
Results: The study found that the immune system influences the haematological system through the interaction of blood clotting factors, platelets, plasminogen, endothelial cells with immune cells.
