The position accuracy based on Decawave Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is affected mainly by three factors: hardware delays, clock drift, and signal power. This article discusses the last two factors. The general approach to clock drift correction uses the phase-locked loop (PLL) integrator, which we show is subject to signal power variations, and therefore, is less suitable for clock drift correction. The general approach to the estimation of signal power correction curves requires additional measurement equipment. This article presents a new method for obtaining the curve without additional hardware and clock drift correction without the PLL integrator. Both correction methods were fused together to improve two-way ranging (TWR).

Significant links between aging and DNA methylation are emerging from recent studies. On the one hand, DNA methylation undergoes changes with age, a process termed as epigenetic drift. On the other hand, DNA methylation serves as a readily accessible and accurate biomarker for aging.

Recent advances in neural network-based computing have enabled human-like information processing in areas such as image classification and voice recognition. However, many neural networks run on conventional computers that operate at GHz clock frequency and consume considerable power compared to biological neural networks, such as human brains, which work with a much slower spiking rate. Although many electronic devices aiming to emulate the energy efficiency of biological neural networks have been explored, achieving long timescales while maintaining scalability remains an important challenge.

Proper timing synchronization is important when data from sensors are acquired by different devices. This paper proposes a simple but effective solution for System on Chip (SoC) architectures that integrates a general-purpose Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) with a CPU. The proposed approach relies on a network synchronization protocol implemented in software, such as Network Time Protocol (NTP) or Precision Time Protocol (PTP), and uses the FPGA to generate a clock reference that is maintained in step with the synchronized system clock.

This paper introduces an enhanced time synchronization method different from IEEE 1588 (PTP). The proposed algorithm employs a unique synchronous message packet structure with a fixed length of 10 bytes and the highest system priority. This design enables preemptive transmission, effectively reducing transmission and queuing delays.
