Utilizing the periodic pixel configuration of the CCD/CMOS imaging sensor as the reference grating and the image of the real grating formed by the lens as the specimen grating, the CCD Moiré method directly outputs amplified Moiré fringes, facilitating high-resolution, full-field deformation measurement. Due to the amplification effect of CCD Moiré, even minor relative rotations of the two gratings can significantly affect Moiré imaging and introduce measurable errors. This paper mainly addresses the imaging and measurement challenges of in-plane rotation in the CCD Moiré method.

Spatial anti-bunching, in contrast to the well-known bunching behavior observed in classical light sources, describes a situation where photons tend to avoid each other in space, resulting in a reduced probability of detecting two or more photons in proximity. This anti-bunching effect, a hallmark of nonclassical light, signifies a deviation from classical intensity fluctuations and has been observed not only in free electrons and entangled photon pairs but also in chaotic-thermal light. This work investigates the generation mechanism of spatial anti-bunching correlation in random light fields, leveraging the wandering of light centers to induce a second-order coherence degree below unity.

Application of DynaCT biliary soft tissue reconstruction technology in diagnosis and treatment of hepatolithiasis.

World J Gastrointest Surg

Department of Emergency Medicine, Biomedical Innovation Center, The Sixth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou 510655, Guangdong Province, China.

Background: Hepatobiliary stone disease involves an intrahepatic bile duct stone that occurs above the confluence of the right and left hepatic ducts. One-step percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscopic lithotripsy (PTCSL) using the percutaneous transhepatic one-step biliary fistulation (PTOBF) technique enables the clearing of intrahepatic stones and the resolution of strictures. However, hepatolithiasis with associated strictures still has high residual and recurrence rates after one-step PTCSL.

High resolution infrared spectra of water-CO dimers are further studied using tunable infrared sources to probe a pulsed slit jet supersonic expansion. The relatively weak transition of DO-CO in the DO ν fundamental region (≈2760 cm) is observed for the first time, as are various spectra of DO-CO. Combination bands involving the intermolecular in plane geared bend (disrotatory) mode are observed for HO-CO (≈1642, 2397 cm) in the HO ν and CO ν regions, for HDO-CO (≈2761 cm) in the HDO ν region, and for DO-CO (≈2386, 2705 and 2821 cm) in the CO ν, DO ν, and DO ν regions.

Liver cancer has a high mortality rate worldwide, and clinicians segment liver vessels in CT images before surgical procedures. However, liver vessels have a complex structure, and the segmentation process is conducted manually, so it is time-consuming and labor-intensive. Consequently, it would be extremely useful to develop a deep learning-based automatic liver vessel segmentation method.
