To address gaps in the cost literature by estimating the cost of delivering an evidence-based HIV risk reduction intervention for HIV-serodiscordant, heterosexual, African American couples (Eban II) and calculating the cost-effective thresholds at three participating sites. The cost, cost-saving, and cost-effectiveness thresholds for Eban II were calculated using standard methods. The analytic time period was from July 1 to September 31, 2014. Total costs for 3 months of program implementation were from $13,747 to $25,937, with societal costs ranging from $5632 to $17,008 and program costs ranging from $8115 to $14,122. The costs per participant were from $1621 to $2160; the cost per session (per participant) ranged from $147 to $196. Sites had achievable cost-saving thresholds, which were all less than one for the 3-month costing timeframe.

In China, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) uptake among men who have sex with men (MSM) and HIV-serodiscordant couples is low. We offered differentiated PrEP options tailored to MSM in a community-based organization (CBO) setting, and to HIV-serodiscordant couples attempting conception in a specialized HIV care clinic. The CBO facilitated PrEP by linkage with a telemedicine platform for virtual consultation; additional online follow-up on social media was conducted by peers.

Background: Non-disclosure of HIV status and poor condom use, among mothers living with HIV may pose risks of HIV transmission to their serodiscordant partners and may influence the outcome of their infants. The study was aimed at assessing predictors of HIV status disclosure, and condom use, among mothers of infants exposed to HIV attending the ART clinic in Abakaliki, Southeast Nigeria.
Materials And Methods: A hospital-based cross-sectional study that involved 246 mothers living with HIV.

Background: Antiretroviral therapy has helped human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected people live an enhanced quality of life and attempt for a pregnancy, without placing their partner at risk. Although periconceptional pre-exposure prophylaxis for the uninfected partner and consistent antiretroviral therapy for the HIV-infected partner are important to prevent HIV transmission, semen washing could be a great option to further reduce the semen viral load.
Aim: The aim of this study were as follows: to determine if semen washing with intrauterine insemination provides an added safety net to HIV-serodiscordant couples when the male partner is HIV-infected and virally suppressed and to determine if the U = U concept (undetectable = untransmittable) holds true in virally suppressed HIV-infected males.

Background: Men who have sex with men (MSM) are more vulnerable to acquiring sexually transmitted infections (STIs). In 2019, for instance, 74% of European (Ng) cases among males affected MSM. A recent report by the World Health Organization showed that most of the 2020' interim targets to end STIs by 2030 had not been met.
