We revise soliton and lump solutions described by the cylindrical Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (cKP) equation and construct new exact solutions relevant to physical observation. In the first part of this study, we consider basically axisymmetric waves described by the cylindrical Kortweg-de Vries equation and analyze approximate and exact solutions to this equation. Then, we consider the stability of the axisymmetric solitons with respect to the azimuthal perturbations and suggest a criterion of soliton instability.

First case report of ruptured giant expanding breast oil cyst.

AME Case Rep

Department of Diagnostic Radiology, HCA Healthcare, Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside, CA, USA.

Article Synopsis
  • * A 51-year-old woman experienced an expanding painless lump in her breast, which was eventually identified as a giant ruptured calcified oil cyst, following a long history of stable presence after a car accident.
  • * Clinicians should consider oil cyst rupture as a possible diagnosis for expanding breast lumps; diagnostic mammograms are critical for identifying benign characteristics of these cysts.

Breast implant surgery typically improves patient breast satisfaction and health-related quality of life. However, breast implants are also linked to long-term local problems like capsular contracture and breast discomfort. Chest pain is one of the reasons that patients with breast implants seek consultations, which is not typically attributable to cardiovascular reasons.

Introduction: Muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) is a heterogeneous disease with several taxonomic molecular subtypes showing different genetic, clinical, and epidemiological profiles. It has been suggested that MIBC-subtypes follow different tumorigenesis pathways playing decisive roles at different stages of tumor development, resulting in distinct tumor microenvironment containing both innate and adaptive immune cells (T and B lymphocytes). We aim to characterize the MIBC tumor microenvironment by analyzing the tumor-infiltrating B and T cell repertoire according to the taxonomic molecular subtypes.

In this paper, we study in detail the nonlinear propagation of a magnetic soliton in a ferromagnetic film. The sample is magnetized to saturation by an external field perpendicular to film plane. A generalized (2+1)-dimensional short-wave asymptotic model is derived.
