Our aim was to assess a method of simultaneous computed tomographic (CT) angiography of the coronary and radial arteries without increasing contrast medium usage. Radial access is a standard approach in coronary interventions. However, radial artery puncture is difficult due to the small size of the radial artery and potential unexpected anomaly. If we can obtain anatomical information on the radial artery beforehand, the success rate of radial artery puncture may increase. Simultaneous CT angiography of the coronary and radial arteries without increasing contrast medium usage was planned. Contrast medium was injected in the right elbow vein. Time to peak concentration of contrast medium in the aorta (TPA) and time to peak concentration of contrast medium in the radial artery (TPR) were obtained by the test scan in each patient based on the time-density curve. The main scan was performed using 265 mg iodine/kg of contrast medium. The start time was decided according to TPA and TPR, respectively. This study included 192 cases [age, mean ± standard deviation (SD),72.0 ± 9.9 years]. Mean TPA and TPR were 19.0 ± 2.3(SD) seconds and 34.0 ± 10.0 s, respectively. Clear images of radial arteries were obtained in 89.6% (right) and 84.9% (left). Radiation exposure during cardiac CT angiography (CCTA) and radial artery CT angiography (RCTA) was 269.9 ± 155.6 mGy cm and 31.1 ± 12.3 mGy cm as dose length product, respectively. RCTA immediately following CCTA was safely performed with minimal increase in radiation exposure and no additional contrast medium. These images can help in radial access as well as distal radial access in coronary interventions.

Objective: This study explored the value of stomach ultrasound reporting and data system (Su-RADS) and two-dimensional shear wave elastography (2D-SWE) in the diagnosis of benign and malignant lesions of the gastric wall, evaluating the feasibility of combining the two methods for the diagnosis of gastric wall lesions.
Methods: 113 patients with gastric wall lesions were examined after oral gastric ultrasound contrast agent, and the grades of the gastric wall lesions were classified according to Su-RADS. Moreover, 2D-SWE was performed to measure the E value of the lesions.

Assessing actual and potential impacts of non-native species is necessary for prioritising their management. Traditional assessments often occur at the species level, potentially overlooking differences among populations. The recently developed Dispersal-Origin-Status-Impact (DOSI) assessment scheme addresses this by treating biological invasions as population-level phenomena, incorporating the complexities affecting populations of non-native species.

A dual-signal aptamer-based assay utilizing colorimetric and fluorescence techniques was developed for the determination of zearalenone (ZEN). The CdTe quantum dots, serving as the fluorescent signal source, were surface-modified onto FeO@SiO and subsequently functionalized with the aptamer. The COF-Au was modified with complementary chain, which possessed peroxide (POD)-like enzyme properties, and could catalyze the peroxidation of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) to ox TMB, resulting in the generation of colorimetric signals.

Biliary and pancreatic tract stenosis are hallmark symptoms in pancreaticobiliary diseases, transcending malignancy. Endoscopic techniques are pivotal for biliary/pancreatic drainage; however, challenging scenarios arise when attempting to pass a guidewire (GW) through obstruction. Cholangioscopy-assisted GW placement has proven valuable, but challenges persist in its execution, particularly in maneuvering the GW through cholangioscopy.

Background: Usefulness of hysteroscopic metroplasty to improve reproductive outcomes is controversial and debated among reproductive specialists and, consequently, patients.
Methods: We performed a cross-sectional analysis to assess the quality, reliability, and level of misinformation in YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok videos about hysteroscopic metroplasty. Videos on each social network retrieved using "hysteroscopy" and "septate uterus" or "uterine septum" as keywords were assessed using Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool for audio-visual (PEMAT A/V) content, the modified DISCERN (mDISCERN), Global Quality Scale (GQS), Video Information and Quality Index (VIQI) and Misinformation assessment.
