At its October 2024 meeting, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices* (ACIP) approved the Recommended Immunization Schedule for Child and Adolescent Ages 18 Years or Younger, United States, 2025. The schedule supports health care providers, as well as public health and other professionals, by providing a consolidated summary of current ACIP recommendations for vaccinating children and adolescents. The 2025 schedule includes several updates to the cover page, tables, notes, and appendix.

China faces a critical public health challenge with obesity rates exceeding 50% among adults and 20% among children. In response, the National Health Commission launched a comprehensive three-year "Year of Weight Management" initiative in March 2024, further emphasized by the 36th Patriotic Health Month's theme "Healthy Towns - Healthy Weight" in April 2024. These initiatives underscore the urgent necessity for implementing comprehensive strategies to combat obesity and its associated non-communicable diseases.

Description: The aim of this American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) Clinical Practice Update (CPU) is to provide best practice advice (BPA) statements for gastroenterologists and other health care providers who provide care to patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The focus is on IBD-specific screenings (excluding colorectal cancer screening, which is discussed separately) and vaccinations.
