This review gives an overview of treatments used to concurrently reduce symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and prolonged grief disorder (PGD). For purposes of this review, emphasis is placed on locating and comparing literature on exposure- and nonexposure-based treatments. Across 14 studies, the overall findings suggest that treatments are generally effective in treating PTSD and PGD concurrently and that treatments incorporating exposure-based components performed similarly to those without exposure-based components. However, methodological limitations preclude the ability to draw firm conclusions about the added impact of exposure-based components in traumatic grief treatment. Future directions for research on concurrent treatments for PTSD and PGD are discussed.

Indoor dust can adsorb various pollutants and long-term deposition can significantly impact air quality and human health. This study investigated the occurrence, source apportionment, and health risks associated with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and their derivatives (d-PAHs) in indoor dust, by focusing on residential and public buildings in Nanjing, China. The concentration of 16 PAHs and 27 d-PAHs ranged from 511 to 5472 ng/g and from 422 to 2904 ng/g, with the most abundant compounds being fluoranthene and 1,2-benz[a]anthraquinone, respectively.

Bufadienolides and indolealkylamines, the primary active components in Bufonis venenum, have rapid clearance from the body with a short half-life, leading to low bioavailability. Moreover, Bufadienolides and indolealkylamines are associated with serious adverse effects. In order to reduce the toxicities, minimize the adverse effects and simultaneously load lipophilic bufadienolides and hydrophilic indolealkylamines with satisfactory drug loading and encapsulation rate, we prepared Bufonis venenum extract-liposomes (BVE-LP).

Background: Mobile mental health apps are a cost-effective option for managing mental health problems, such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
