As countries pursue UNAIDS's 90-90-90 target for ending the AIDS epidemic, success is dependent on learning how to deliver effective care. We describe a learning network and mechanisms used to foster communication and sharing of ideas and results across 6 countries in the Partnership for HIV-Free Survival. The network used 2 forms of peer exchange, in-person and virtual, and a variety of knowledge management mechanisms to harvest and spread key learning. Key learning included valuable insights on how to design and convene a multicountry learning network, including top enablers of success and practical insights on the network's value. The network was instrumental in accelerating learning about improving care. Our experience shows the value of creating a quality improvement-driven, multicountry learning network to accelerate the pace of improving care systems. Government ownership and adaptation of collaborative learning efforts to the country context must be considered when designing future networks.

This study introduces a high-resolution wind nowcasting model designed for aviation applications at Madeira International Airport, a location known for its complex wind patterns. By using data from a network of six meteorological stations and deep learning techniques, the produced model is capable of predicting wind speed and direction up to 30-minute ahead with 1-minute temporal resolution. The optimized architecture demonstrated robust predictive performance across all forecast horizons.

Participation in technical/research internships may improve undergraduate graduation rates and persistence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), yet little is known about the benefits of these activities a) for community college students, b) when hosted by national laboratories, and c) beyond the first few years after the internship. We applied Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) to investigate alumni perspectives about how CCI at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) impacted their academic/career activities. We learned that alumni had low confidence and expectations of success in STEM as community college students.

Stock price prediction is a challenging research domain. The long short-term memory neural network (LSTM) widely employed in stock price prediction due to its ability to address long-term dependence and transmission of historical time signals in time series data. However, manual tuning of LSTM parameters significantly impacts model performance.

Soccer is arguably the most widely followed sport worldwide, and many dream of becoming soccer players. However, only a few manage to achieve this dream, which has cast a significant spotlight on elite soccer players who possess exceptional skills to rise above the rest. Originally, such attention was focused on their great physical abilities.

In this paper, we explore the application of Artificial Intelligence and network science methodologies in characterizing interdisciplinary disciplines, with a specific focus on the field of Italian design, taken as a paradigmatic example. Exploratory data analysis and the study of academic collaboration networks highlight how the field is evolving towards increased collaboration. Text analysis and semantic topic modelling identified the evolution of research interest over time, defining a ranking of pairs of keywords and three prominent research topics: User-Centric Experience Design, Innovative Product Design and Sustainable Service Design.
