Background: MPOX (Monkeypox) is a zoonotic disease of increasing global concern due to its re-emergence and potential for human-to-human transmission. Effective public health interventions rely on understanding socio-demographic determinants of knowledge and perceptions of the disease. This study aimed to investigate MPOX-related knowledge and concerns among a diverse sample in Türkiye, identifying key factors influencing knowledge levels.

Background: Pacific Biosciences (PacBio) circular consensus sequencing (CCS), also known as high fidelity (HiFi) technology, has revolutionized modern genomics by producing long (10 + kb) and highly accurate reads. This is achieved by sequencing circularized DNA molecules multiple times and combining them into a consensus sequence. Currently, the accuracy and quality value estimation provided by HiFi technology are more than sufficient for applications such as genome assembly and germline variant calling.

Traditional methods involving sample collection and lab analysis are effective but costly and time-consuming. This study explores whether geostatistical analysis with GIS and open data can provide a faster, more precise, and cost-effective alternative for HM contamination assessment without extensive sampling.

Studies intended to estimate the effect of a treatment, like randomized trials, may not be sampled from the desired target population. To correct for this discrepancy, estimates can be transported to the target population. Methods for transporting between populations are often premised on a positivity assumption, such that all relevant covariate patterns in one population are also present in the other.

Background: Sjogren syndrome (SS) is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease and its pathogenesis often involves the participation of numerous immune cells and inflammatory factors. Despite increased researches and studies recently focusing on this area, it remains to be fully elucidated. We decide to incorporate genetic insight into investigation of the causal link between various immune cells, inflammatory factors and pathogenesis of Sjogren syndrome (SS).
