The purpose of this report is to detail the unique occurrence of comedo-like trichoadenoma of the upper eyelid. A 54-year-old man underwent surgical resection of the lesions of the left upper eyelid that were suspected to be dilated pores. The lesions were studied with histopathological examination. Histopathology showed lesions in the dermis and epidermis containing keratinous cysts surrounded by interstitial edema and infiltration of lymphocytes. The lesions were finally diagnosed as trichoadenoma.

Background: Ideal methods for double eyelid crease creation in Asian upper eyelids remain controversial due to the complexity of Asian upper eyelid anatomies. Key confusions include the underestimation of tarsal height and the septum/aponeurosis fusion point height (FPH), which may underlie the unnaturally high creases in many classic double eyelid procedures.
Methods: A total of 1272 patients had tarsal heights measured.

Conjunctival malignant melanoma is extremely rare, with no standard of care established at moment. Here we report a 65-year-old woman, as a hepatitis B virus (HBV) carrier, who presented concurrently a liver mass and lower bulbar conjunctival pigmented lesions in the right eye. Needle liver biopsy and excisional conjunctival biopsy showed hepatocellular carcinoma and conjunctival malignant melanoma , respectively.

Objective: We sought to analyze the effectiveness, recurrence, safety, and patient satisfaction rates following xanthelasma palpebrarum (XP) treatment with trichloroacetic acid (TCA) 80%.
Methods: This was a retrospective review of patients treated with TCA 80% for XP between January 2012 and August 2022. A prospective telephone questionnaire was administered to the same patient population to evaluate recurrence, patient satisfaction, and side effects.

Purpose: Reliable assessment is critical for diagnosing and managing meibomian gland dysfunction. Multi-functional diagnostic devices, such as meibographers, streamline clinical workflows by integrating multiple ocular assessments. Ensuring reproducibility across examiners is vital for accurate diagnosis and monitoring of treatment.

Purpose: Phenylephrine testing prior to Müller muscle conjunctival resection has traditionally been used to predict postoperative outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine if preoperative phenylephrine testing impacts postoperative changes in eyelid position.
Methods: In this multicenter cross-sectional cohort study, 270 eyelids of participants with involutional ptosis and levator function >12 mm who underwent Müller muscle conjunctival resection were divided into 2 comparison groups.
