Background: Embryo selection for transfer is critical in assisted reproduction. The presence of DNA in the blastocoel cavity of human blastocysts is assumed to be a consequence of common preimplantation chromosomal abnormalities.
Objective: This study examined the relationship between the amount of blastocoel fluid (BF) DNA and the band intensity of amplified BF-DNA in gel electrophoresis, considering the influence of ploidy status.

Background: There are few reports about the one-stage surgery of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) + mitral valve transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (M-TEER) around the world. TAVR + M-TEER surgery is usually performed under the simultaneous guidance of digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and echocardiography. There is no report of TAVR surgery assisted only by echocardiography all over the world.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally, necessitating the development of sensitive and minimally invasive diagnostic approaches. In this study, we present a novel diagnostic strategy by integrating dumbbell probe-mediated CRISPR/Cas13a with nicking-induced DNA cascade reaction (DP-bridged Cas13a/NDCR) for highly sensitive microRNA (miRNA) detection. Target miRNA triggers Cas13a-mediated cleavage of the dumbbell probe, releasing an intermediate strand that hybridizes with a methylene blue-labeled hairpin probe on the electrode surface.

Facial thread lifting has emerged as a minimally invasive alternative to traditional face-lifting procedures, with particular emphasis on U-shaped and I-shaped barbed threads. This review analyzes the anatomical considerations, procedural techniques, and clinical outcomes of different thread types for facial rejuvenation. The study examines the mechanical principles and lifting mechanisms of U-shaped "suspension type" threads versus I-shaped threads, highlighting their distinct characteristics and applications.
