Microangiopathic hemolytic anemia (MAHA) is a condition characterized by intravascular fragmentation of red blood cells, leading to the characteristic finding of schistocytes on a peripheral blood smear. The differential diagnoses of MAHA include thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS), disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), infections, malignancies, and solid organ transplantation. The commonly associated malignancies with MAHA are gastric, breast, prostate, lung, and lymphoma.

Foot tuberculosis is rarely reported in the literature, with most tuberculosis of the foot being an uncommon manifestation of skeletal tuberculosis. Early diagnosis and timely medical and surgical intervention can significantly reduce morbidity. A 23-year-old male presented with persistent swelling and pain in his right foot for six months, accompanied by a discharging sinus over the affected area in the last week, making weight-bearing increasingly difficult.

Cystic cuboid adenomatous malformations (CCAM) are congenital pulmonary lesions, usually benign, that can progress into malignancy. Bronchopulmonary sequestration (BPS) is another type of malformation that consistsof an ectopic pulmonary tissue mass that doesn't participate in blood-gas exchanges, with vascularization provided by anomalous branches of the thoracic aorta. Hybrid lesions are lesions that have histological features of CCAM but with systemic vascularization, a pathognomonic sign of BPS.
