Genetics is a branch of biology that studies the laws of inheritance and variation from the level of genes (genomes). Genetics teaching should be compatible with the evolving genetic disciplines and social needs. In view of the continuous development of the genetics knowledge system and the requirements for the training of biological students, our teaching team carried out the curriculum design and implementation of genetics blended course under the principle of constructive alignment. The reform actions include: (1) constructing genetics online resources with genetic analysis as the main line; (2) optimizing the learning objectives according to bloom's educational goals classification; (3) designing learning activities and learning assessments under the principle of constructive alignment; (4) enrich the forms of learning activities, highlighting learning-centered course design and learner interaction, promoting active learning, and improving learning outcomes. The results of the questionnaire survey and exam result analysis suggest that the blended course reform has achieved initial results. The course is fully affirmed by the students and helps to improve learning outcomes, which is worthy of further consolidation and promotion. This paper generally introduces the curriculum design and preliminary practice of genetics blended course, providing new insights and approaches for the continued development of genetics teaching in the new era.

Objective: The goal of this study is to construct a 16-week, two-stage, adaptive intervention consisting of DTT ([discrete trials training], largely considered usual care for children with autism), JASP-EMT (a blended, naturalistic, developmental behavioral intervention involving JASPER [joint attention, symbolic play, engagement and regulation] and EMT [enhanced milieu teaching]), and parent training (P) for improving spontaneous, communicative utterances in school-aged, minimally verbal autistic children. Intervention was delivered both at school (DTT, JASP-EMT) and home (P). This manuscript reports results for the study's primary aim and a closely related secondary aim.

Background: There exists no standardized longitudinal curriculum for teaching bedside ultrasonography (US) in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) fellowship programs. Given the importance of mastering bedside US in clinical practice, we developed an integrated year-long US curriculum for first-year PCCM fellows.
Methods: 11 first-year PCCM fellows completed the entire seven-step Blended Learning Curriculum.

The present study introduces a novel, straightforward method for preparing biodegradable hydrogels based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) for medical applications. The resulting PVA/PVP-based hydrogel uniquely combines the water absorbency, biocompatibility, and biodegradability of the polymer composite.

Objectives: The study evaluates the fifth cohort of the palliative care cancer treatment centres (CTC) educational programme in India with the aim of refining the course on the basis of participant feedback thereby improving palliative care services at cancer centres.
Methods: The intervention included participation in the CTC 5 teaching and training programme, which encompassed foundation course, refresher course, access to palliative care training modules, clinical training and mentorship under palliative care experts. The feedback was taken from all 57 participants (29 doctors and 28 nurses) of CTC 5 programme representing 14 hospitals across nine regions in India.
