Background And Objective: To investigate choriocapillary blood flow in myopic eyes using optical coherence tomography angiography.
Patients And Methods: Seventy-eight myopic and 79 age-matched healthy eyes were included in this study, with myopia defined as a spherical equivalent refraction (SER) between -1 diopters (D) and -6 D. Quantitative measurements of the choriocapillaris were obtained using the Avanti RTVue XR with AngioVue. Choroidal thickness (CT) was assessed using the single-line enhanced high-definition scan of the same device.
Results: CT correlated positively with SER (P = .017) and negatively with bulbus axial length (AL) (P = .180). Subfoveal choriocapillary blood flow did not show any significant correlation with any of the parameters SER, AL, or CT (P = .798, P = .269, and P = .820, respectively). The mean flow signal of the myopic group did not differ significantly from the mean flow signal of the emmetropic control group (P = .266).
Conclusion: Choriocapillary blood flow seems to retain a constant level with increasing physiological myopia. [Ophthalmic Surg Lasers Imaging Retina. 2019;50:e133-e139.].

This report describes a patient with polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) with fovea-involving retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) tear that showed tissue remodeling with a good visual outcome. Imaging over the patient's clinical course from 2019 was reviewed. A 74-year-old female presented with left submacular hemorrhage and a large multi-lobular pigment epithelial detachment.

Objective: Imaging techniques have demonstrated changes in the choroid and retina in acute central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR), but the effects on the optic nerve head (ONH) remain unclear. This study investigates ONH structural changes in acute CSCR using enhanced deep imaging optic coherence tomography (EDI-OCT).
Methods: A prospective cohort study included 51 acute CSCR patients and 51 healthy controls aged 18-65 years.

Background: ALG8-congenital disorder of glycosylation (ALG8-CDG) is a rare inherited metabolic disorder leading to severe multisystem manifestations, with no reported prenatal patients to date.
Methods: We describe two fetuses from a single family with ALG8-CDG presenting with prenatal hydrops, undergoing comprehensive prenatal ultrasound, umbilical cord blood biochemistry, autopsy, placental pathology, and genetic testing.
Results: Prenatal ultrasound revealed fetal hydrops, skeletal anomalies, cardiac developmental abnormalities, cataracts, echogenic kidneys and bowel, oligohydramnios, choroid plexus cysts, and intrauterine growth restriction.

Introduction: We aimed to explore the difference in choroidal vascular parameters using swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) in patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) compared to controls. We also explored the ability of the choroidal parameters to reflect elevated intracranial pressure (ICP) in patients with IIH.
Methods: This observational study recruited patients diagnosed with IIH and healthy controls.

Purpose: To evaluate an alternative surgical approach for Port Delivery System with ranibizumab (PDS) implant and a novel application of Iridex laser system in Gottingen minipig model.
Methods: A total of seventeen male minipigs (Part 1: 9 animals in non-recovery and Part 2: 8 animals observed for 8-days post-surgery Part 2) received PDS implant insertion into each eye. The effect of Iridex 810 nm infrared diode laser with varying energy (power or duration) on transscleral pars plana ablation, surrounding ocular tissue and postsurgical vitreous hemorrhage (VH) was investigated.
