Test methods for measuring safety and performance of mobile manipulators have yet to be developed. Therefore, potential mobile manipulator users cannot compare one system to another. Systems Modeling Language (SysML) is a general-purpose modeling language for systems engineering applications that supports the specification, analysis, design, verification, and validation of simple through complex systems, such as mobile manipulators. As test methods are developed to allow performance comparison of the varied mobile manipulators, so to should be the case of allowing comparison of most any mobile manipulator configuration and control strategy during performance measurements. Additionally, mobile manipulator manufacturers and users can then compare these systems to tasks using various methods. This paper uses SysML to describe two measurement methods (optical tracking and artifacts) and the performance measurement of mobile manipulators performing assembly tasks. The SysML models are verified through systems review, referenced experimentation and summarize with uncertainty propagation models of the mobile manipulator.

Due to its "ferroionic" nature, CuInPS combines switchable ferroelectric polarization with highly mobile Cu ions, allowing for multiple resistance states. Its conductive mechanism involves ferroelectric switching, ion migration, and corresponding intercoupling, which are highly sensitive to external electric field. Distinguishing the dominant contribution of either ferroelectric switching or ion migration to dynamic conductivity remains a challenge and the conductive mechanism is not clear yet.

Humanoid robots are becoming a global research focus. Due to the limitations of bipedal walking technology, mobile humanoid robots equipped with a wheeled chassis and dual arms have emerged as the most suitable configuration for performing complex tasks in factory or home environments. To address the high redundancy issue arising from the wheeled chassis and dual-arm design of mobile humanoid robots, this study proposes a whole-body coordinated motion control algorithm based on arm potential energy optimization.

The sanctity of human life mandates the replacement of individuals with robotic systems in the execution of hazardous tasks. Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), a field fraught with mortal danger, stands at the forefront of this transition. In this study, we explore the potential of robotic telepresence as a safeguard for human operatives, drawing on the robust capabilities demonstrated by legged manipulators in diverse operational contexts.

Facilitated transport membranes (FTMs) with an ultraselective layer prepared from amine-rich polyvinylamine (PVAm)/2-(1-piperazinyl)ethylamine salt of sarcosine (PZEA-Sar) (denoted by PM) and an amorphous dendritic cross-linked network of PVAm-functionalized poly(ethylene glycol)diglycidyl ether (PEGDGE) (named PP) were designed for CO separations. The developed membranes expedited CO transport over N through the synergistic effect from the induced CO-philic ethylene oxide groups and highly hydrophilic and polar hydroxyl groups together with the low-crystallinity PP networks, which offer a high diffusion rate for CO-amine complexes through the membrane and stabilize small molecular mobile carriers via hydrogen bonding. The best (PM/PP-10)/polysulfone (PSf) composite membranes achieved a superior CO/N selectivity of 230 (4.

When people discuss something that they can both see, their attention becomes increasingly coupled. Previous studies have found that this coupling is temporally asymmetric (e.g.
