The scope of this study is to analyze the representational content and structure of the family from the viewpoint of co-resident elderly people. This is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study with the theoretical contribution of Social Representation Theory, from the structural perspective, conducted with 169 elderly people registered in the catchment area of two Family Health Units. The Technique of Free Evocations was used for production of data using the keyword family, and the analysis performed using EVOC software. A probable structured nucleus was identified based on the words love, concern, yearning and relatives, while at the same time the peripheral elements elicit words such as unity and conflict, revealing elements of both positive and negative meanings. The conclusion drawn is that the representational structure reveals a dimension of positive and negative aspects of the elderly with regard to the family.

Background: The increased use of digital data in health research demands interdisciplinary collaborations to address its methodological complexities and challenges. This often entails merging the linear deductive approach of health research with the explorative iterative approach of data science. However, there is a lack of structured teaching courses and guidance on how to effectively and constructively bridge different disciplines and research approaches.

To enhance the water stability and bearing capacity of the Shandong Ming Dong Expressway's soaked subgrade, carbide slag (CS) and coal gangue powder (CG) were used as stabilisers. Stabiliser dosages of 5%, 10%, and 15%, with the CS:CG ratios of 0:100, 30:70, 50:50, 70:30, and 100:0, were tested. The study evaluated the performance of CS-CG stabilised soil through unconfined compressive strength (UCS) tests at 7 and 28 days, six dry-wet cycles, a 30-day water immersion test, pH test, swell rate test, XRD, SEM, and MIP analyses.

Integration of resistance indicators, metabolomes, and transcriptomes to elucidate that there is a positive correlation between disease susceptibility and cold tolerance in tea plants. The flavonoid pathway was found to be the major metabolic and transcriptional enrichment pathway. A key domain NB-ARC was identified through joint analysis, along with analysis of key domains within the NB-ARC protein.

Electrolyte engineering has emerged as an effective strategy for stabilizing Zn-metal anodes. However, a single solute or solvent additive is far from sufficient to meet the requirements for electrolyte cycling stability. Here, we report a new-type high-entropy electrolyte composed of equal molar amounts of Zn(OTf)2 and LiOTf, along with equal volumes of H2O, triethyl phosphate, and dimethyl sulfoxide, which enhances electrolyte stability by increasing solvation entropy.
