Int J Comput Assist Radiol Surg

January 2025

Faculty of Computer Science and Research Campus STIMULATE, Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg, Magdeburg, Germany.

Purpose: Structured abdominal examination is an essential part of the medical curriculum and surgical training, requiring a blend of theory and practice from trainees. Active transportation, such as cycling, improves mobility and general health. However, statistics reveal that in low- and middle-income countries, male and female cycling participation rates differ significantly. Existing literature highlights that women's willingness to use bicycles is significantly influenced by their perception of security.

Changes in water, energy, and food (WEF) trade patterns may reshape water circulation patterns, leading to potential water supply and demand risks. Analysis of virtual water risk transmission characteristics and driving factors from the perspective of WEF trade is highly important for alleviating the risk of water shortages and promoting the efficient use of resources. In this paper, a set of methods for quantifying risk transmission values is constructed on the basis of China's interregional input-output model, and the key paths of interregional virtual water risk transmission caused by WEF trade are identified using innovative methods.

Health care systems are confronted with an increasing burden of (multi-)morbidity and a shortfall of healthcare providers. Coordination and continuity of care in chronic and multi-morbid patient is especially important. As qualitative patient experience data within care processes is scarce, we aim to increase the understanding of chronically ill patient's perspectives by assessing patient experiences in different health systems while treated in primary care.
