Introduction: In this viewpoint we highlight a gap in the literature relating to the involvement of professional stakeholders in healthcare evaluation research.
Method: Using the Dementia-PersonAlised Care Team (D-PACT) project as an example, we illustrate how professional stakeholder work can serve various functions, from understanding commissioning and policy context to contributing to detail of intervention components.
Outcome: We argue that identifying these project-specific functions can help researchers to effectively plan when, how and for whom they will engage in professional stakeholder work across the course of an evaluation.

Background: Globally, 21 million children were un- or under-vaccinated with Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DTP)-containing vaccines in 2023. Around 20% of zero-dose children, those who had not received any DTP doses, live in conflict-affected settings in low and middle-income countries. There is insufficient evidence on vaccination interventions to identify and reach zero-dose children in these settings.

Introduction: Hyperlipidemia is increasingly recognized as a significant global health issue, often associated with conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity. While statins are frequently prescribed to manage lipid levels, recent studies indicate that reliance solely on statin therapy may present certain disadvantages, including prolonged treatment durations, the potential for drug resistance, and various adverse effects. Research indicates that the combination of ezetimibe and statins demonstrates a favorable therapeutic effect in the management of hyperlipidemia.

Aims: Health care transition (HCT) to adult care and young adult disease self-management is a multi-step process involving three major stakeholders - the adolescent, the caregiver, and the provider. Preparation gaps exist within each of these stakeholder groups. This paper presents the development of the Intervention to Promote Autonomy and Competence in Transition-aged Youth (IPACT), a multi-level (adolescent, caregiver, provider), multi-modal (interactive skill building sessions, educational materials, videos) intervention to address gaps in all three stakeholder groups simultaneously and help support achieving the three core elements of HCT planning.

Objectives: To investigate the meta-epidemiology and reporting characteristics of mapping reviews.
Study Design And Setting: We conducted a scoping review of a sample of recent mapping reviews (2022-2023) by searching nine electronic databases and eleven institutional websites up to January 2024. A 28-item reporting checklist, developed by our team and based on existing guidance and methodological studies of mapping reviews, was employed to assess reporting characteristics.
