Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a critical and complex process involved in normal embryonic development, tissue regeneration, and tumor progression. It also contributes to retinal diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR). Although absent in melanoma 2 (AIM2) has been linked to inflammatory disorders, autoimmune diseases, and cancers, its role in the EMT of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE-EMT) and retinal diseases remains unclear.

Multiple Myeloma (MM) is a cytogenetically heterogeneous clonal plasma cell proliferative disease whose diagnosis is supported by analyses on histological slides of bone marrow aspirate. In summary, experts use a labor-intensive methodology to compute the ratio between plasma cells and non-plasma cells. Therefore, the key aspect of the methodology is identifying these cells, which relies on the experts' attention and experience.

Introduction: Loss of skin integrity due to a wound or disease can lead to severe disability or even life threat. The highly expressed microRNAs in the skin are of great significance for skin development. The investigation purposed to explore the effect and mechanism of miR-211 on inflammation, oxidative stress and migration in keratinocytes.

Introduction: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) has one of the poorest cancer prognosis rates; there is an urgent need to develop new drug therapies and biomarkers. CD63, a tetraspanin protein and well-known exosomal marker, is implicated in cancer progression; however, the significance of CD63 expression in ESCC remains unclear. Herein, we report the significance of CD63 expression by analyzing ESCC patient samples and ESCC cell lines.

Introduction: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women and poses a serious threat to women's health. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been found to be specifically expressed in cancers and regulate the growth and death of tumor cells. The role of circRNAs in breast cancer remain unknown.
