Purpose: We aim to report the frequency and distribution of corneal transplantation, by age, sex, and state/territory, in Australia over a > 25-year period from 1994 to 2022, including during COVID-19 lockdowns.

Methods: Using data from Medicare, Australia's Government-funded health insurance scheme, we retrospectively analysed corneal transplants performed from January 1994 to December 2022.

Results: From 1994 to 2022, there were 27,536 corneal transplantation services processed by Medicare.

Objectives: To explain key challenges to evaluating Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) accountable care organization (ACO) models and ways to address those challenges.

Study Design: We enumerate the challenges, beginning with the conception of the alternative payment model and extending through the decision to scale up the model should the initial evaluation suggest that the model is successful. The challenges include churn at the provider and ACO levels, beneficiary leakage and spillover, participation in prior payment models, and determinants of shared savings and penalties.

Unlabelled: The aim of this pilot was to assess the feasibility and acceptability of virtual Narrative Healing Circles (NHC), a new form of Shared Medical Appointments (SMA) among mixed diagnosis population within an urban tertiary academic medical center.

Methods: Multi-method, voluntary recruitment of eligible patients, included referrals, flyers, hospital events page, and patients who participated in an ongoing 7-week integrative oncology SMA series. Two physicians (lifestyle medicine and chaplaincy specialists), both trained in narrative medicine, co-led one-hour long virtual NHC SMAs held every other week for a total of either 4 or 8 sessions.
