We developed a simple, effective and green method for synthesis of broad band violet-blue lightemitting core-shell Cr:C-CaIn²O⁴ nanowires (1-10 mol% of Cr) using aloe vera nectar. Calcium indate (CaIn²O⁴) is an important wideband gap semiconductor that could be explored for optical doping such as transition metals and/or rare-earths useful to make light-emitters, optical data storage, and other devices. The nectar embeds the cations in a gel so as it controls an ionic conversion Cr to Cr in ambient air. When grafting a carbon layer on surface of Cr:CaIn²O⁴ crystallites it yields a core-shell structure of tailored dielectric, optical and other properties. Asprepared Cr:CaIn²O⁴-C exhibits two bands at 270 nm and 360 nm, which got shifted-to at 265 and 370 nm when annealed at higher dosage of Cr ions. These are the ligand-to-metal O to Cr charge transfer bands. We studied the light-emission properties in analyzing migration, transfer and recombination processes of light-induced e-h pairs in detail in correlation to a Cr:CaIn²O⁴-C core-shell nanostructure.

Background: MetaDAG is a web-based tool developed to address challenges posed by big data from omics technologies, particularly in metabolic network reconstruction and analysis. The tool is capable of constructing metabolic networks for specific organisms, sets of organisms, reactions, enzymes, or KEGG Orthology (KO) identifiers. By retrieving data from the KEGG database, MetaDAG helps users visualize and analyze complex metabolic interactions efficiently.

Background: Tuberculosis remains an infectious disease of global concern, with potential impacts on respiratory and intestinal microbiota owing to prolonged broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy. Despite its potential to cause infertility, the vaginal microbiota of women with genital tuberculosis remains poorly understood. We comprehensively analyzed the vaginal microbiota in Chinese women with genital tuberculosis.

An efficient in vitro propagation protocol has been established for a valuable medicinal plant, Salix tetrasperma using mature nodal explants. The investigation aimed to observe the influence of various combinations and concentrations of cytokinins (mT, BA, and Kn) and auxins (NAA, IAA, and IBA) on regeneration potential using the Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium. Among individual cytokinin treatments, 5.

Lipid droplets (LDs) are essential organelles used to store lipids and participate in cellular lipid metabolism. Imaging LDs is an intuitive approach to comprehend their biological functions. Herein, the LDs-targeted CDs (LD-CDs) featuring robust solvatochromic emission were elaborately designed by a Schiff base reaction using 1, 2-diamino-4-fluorobenzene, 3-dimethylaminophenol, and thiourea as precursors.
