Background: Narcolepsy is a chronic disorder that requires lifelong management; however, few studies have evaluated disease burden of narcolepsy. We estimated the healthcare burden of narcolepsy in Japan using data from the Japan Medical Data Center health insurance claims database.
Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of clinical burden, healthcare resource utilization, and costs among incident narcolepsy cases and matched controls identified between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2019.

-related disorder (SRD) is a developmental and epileptic encephalopathy caused by a disruption of the gene. At the beginning of 2024, it is one of many rare monogenic brain disorders without disease-modifying treatments, but that is changing. This article chronicles the last 5 years, beginning when treatments for SRD were not publicly in development, to the start of 2024 when many SRD-specific treatments are advancing.

Objectives: To provide comprehensive information on the burden of myasthenia gravis (MG) in Italy, including the unmet needs of patients and several other aspects related to the disease, based on skilled viewpoints of MG experts.
Design: Iterative analysis conducted in accordance with the best practices of the Delphi method, including anonymity, controlled feedback, and statistical stability of consensus.
Setting And Participants: 24 clinicians, 18 public health experts and 4 patient associations experts completed all the Delphi iterations between 18 April and 3 July 2023, for a total of 46 participants from several Italian Regions.

Background: The warm chain of support is the continuous enabling environment from the mother's first contact with healthcare professionals during early pregnancy, birth and immediate post-partum period, her transition from healthcare facility to home, through to work and the community at large. A breastfeeding-friendly city should be able to support a breastfeeding journey across the warm chain.
Objective: To determine breastfeeding women's perspective of an ideal breastfeeding-friendly city.

The aim of the study was to evaluate and report clinical outcomes of bilateral simultaneous ankle fractures in our institution.
Case Reoprt: We conducted a review of our 2-year experience with patients who had simultaneous bilateral fractures of the ankles and were treated at our institution.
