The development and progression of osteoarthritis (OA) are believed to involve inflammation. This study aimed to investigate the effects of applying therapeutic ultrasound (US) to human osteoarthritic chondrocytes in continuous and pulsed modes on cell proliferation and proinflammatory cytokine levels. Background: We investigated the intraneural spread of injected fluid in brachial plexus nerve roots, examining the potential for intrafascicular spread and identifying influencing factors.
Methods: Twelve deliberate ultrasound-guided intraneural injections were performed at the ventral rami of the brachial plexus nerve roots at their exits from the neuroforamina in six fresh, unembalmed, cryopreserved human cadavers. A 22-G, 30-degree bevel echogenic regional anaesthesia needle was used.

Objectives: We have previously shown that ultrasound-guided repair results in an accurate anchor placement and restores ankle joint stability using cadaveric models. The objective is to assess the safety and clinical outcomes of ultrasound-guided ATFL repair with or without augmentation.
Methods: Forty-nine patients with chronic lateral ankle instability underwent ultrasound-guided ATFL repair with or without augmentation.

Objective: This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of midazolam and dexmedetomidine combined with ropivacaine-induced thoracic paravertebral nerve block (TPVB) in radical lung cancer surgery.
Methods: To retrospectively analyze the clinical data of elderly patients who underwent thoracoscopic radical lung cancer surgery from March 2020 to February 2023 in our hospital. All patients underwent a single two-site method of TPVB at the levels of T4 and T7 under ultrasound guidance.

The objectives of this study were: (i) to evaluate the associations between postpartum health disorders, relative increase in walking activity (RIWA) and expression of behavioral estrus intensity captured by pedometers; (ii) to assess associations between RIWA and pregnancy in cows submitted to timed artificial insemination (TAI). Lactating dairy cows (n = 881) were enrolled in the study. Cows were submitted to a 5d TAI protocol with insertion of a progesterone device.
