The author in this article explores the humanbecoming paradigm postulate of illimitability as unbounded coming to know. Patterns of constructing knowledge, conversation theory, improvisation pedagogy, children's literature, the humanbecoming teaching-learning model, and personal teaching-learning experiences of the author are presented to expand awareness of the unbounded knowing of illimitability.

Groundwater monitoring is a crucial part of groundwater remediation that produces data from various strategically placed wells to maintain a water quality standard. Using the United States Department of Energy's Hanford 100-HRD area well data, recurrent neural networks are trained in the form of one-dimensional Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) networks, and Dual-stage Attention-based LSTM (DA-LSTM) networks to reduce monitoring costs and increase data sampling responsiveness that is subject to laboratory analysis delays, with the best network being DA-LSTM achieving an R score of 0.82.

The risks and benefits associated with simultaneous bilateral unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) continue to engender contentious debate. The aim of this study was to compare the clinical outcomes of simultaneous bilateral and unilateral UKA. A retrospective review was performed between 2019 and 2022 on 280 patients (130 simultaneous bilateral vs.

Sickle cell disease (SCD) is the most common inherited blood disorder worldwide, impacting millions and imposing severe healthcare challenges, particularly in resource-limited regions. Current treatments have variable efficacy and require lifelong adherence. Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation can be curative but comes with significant side effects and limited donor availability limits its widespread applicability.

Memory-Non-Linearity Trade-Off in Distance-Based Delay Networks.

Biomimetics (Basel)

December 2024

IDLab-AIRO, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Ghent University, 9052 Ghent, Belgium.

The performance of echo state networks (ESNs) in temporal pattern learning tasks depends both on their memory capacity (MC) and their non-linear processing. It has been shown that linear memory capacity is maximized when ESN neurons have linear activation, and that a trade-off between non-linearity and linear memory capacity is required for temporal pattern learning tasks. The more recent distance-based delay networks (DDNs) have shown improved memory capacity over ESNs in several benchmark temporal pattern learning tasks.
