Animal feed significantly influences the content and quality of animal products consumed by humans and plays a crucial role in the food chain. To simultaneously analyze 345 pesticide residues in poultry feed, a modified Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, and Safe (QuEChERS) method was developed, utilizing gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS). Validation studies were conducted with spiked pesticide standards, and commercial poultry feed samples were analyzed.

A lateral flow chromatography strip (LFS) is a chromatography-based biosensor with advantages of convenient portability, simple operation and rapid detection. In this study, a novel rapid detection technique of aptamer-based chromatography strip was developed and used for the first time for the residue detection of tetracycline antibiotics (TCs) in various milk samples. In this method, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) modified by TCs specific aptamers were used as probes, and cationic polymers as capture molecules in a test line (T-line).

Residues of plant growth regulators (PGRs) in homologous materials of medicine and food threaten public health. This study aimed to develop a rapid, sensitive, and high-throughput method for simultaneously determining 16 PGR residues in homologous materials of medicine and food. Furthermore, the established method was applied to actual samples to assess the potential exposure risk of multi-PGR residues.

A comprehensive LC-MS/MS method, which employs Positive Electrospray Ionization (PEI) and Multiple Reaction Monitoring (MRM) was developed for the simultaneous determination of 35 pesticides belonging to various chemical classes in tomato, brinjal, chili, and okra samples. Extraction was facilitated using a modified QuEChERS method, which allows efficient sample analysis in a single run. Calibration curves for each pesticide exhibited linearity within the concentration range of 0.
