mRNA delivered using lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) has become an important subunit vaccine modality, but mechanisms of action for mRNA vaccines remain incompletely understood. Here, we synthesized a metal chelator-lipid conjugate enabling positron emission tomography (PET) tracer labeling of LNP/mRNA vaccines for quantitative visualization of vaccine trafficking in live mice and non-human primates (NHPs). Following i.

Large visual language models like Contrastive Language-Image Pre-training (CLIP), despite their excellent performance, are highly vulnerable to the influence of adversarial examples. This work investigates the accuracy and robustness of visual language models (VLMs) from a novel multi-modal perspective. We propose a multi-modal fine-tuning method called Multi-modal Depth Adversarial Prompt Tuning (MDAPT), which guides the generation of visual prompts through text prompts to improve the accuracy and performance of visual language models.

The safety of the airspace could be improved by the use of visual methods for the detection and tracking of aircraft. However, in the case of the small angular size of airplanes and the high noise level in the image, sufficient use of such methods might be difficult. By using the ConvNN (Convolutional Neural Network), it is possible to obtain a detector that performs the segmentation task for aircraft images that are very small and lost in the background noise.

Large oil-immersed transformers have metal-enclosed shells, making it difficult to visually inspect the internal insulation condition. Visual inspection of internal defects is carried out using a self-developed micro-robot in this work. Carbon trace is the main visual characteristic of internal insulation defects.

As a large-volume industrial solid waste generated during the production of wet-process phosphoric acid, the primary disposal method for phosphogypsum (PG) currently involves centralized stockpiling, which requires substantial land use. Additionally, PG contains impurities, such as phosphorus, fluorine, and alkali metals, that may pose potential pollution risks to the surrounding environment. However, the mechanisms governing the co-release of phosphorus and fluorine impurities alongside valuable metal cations during leaching remain unclear, posing challenges to efficient disposal and utilization.
