Background: Epilepsy, a neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures, presents considerable difficulties in treatment, particularly when dealing with drug-resistant cases. Dapsone, recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties, holds promise as a potential therapeutic option. However, its effectiveness in epilepsy requires further investigation.

However, several barriers, such as anti-tumor efficacy, drug toxicity, and safety, remain to be overcome to achieve clinical utility. Prior preclinical studies had generated encouraging data showing promises of cancer metabolism targeting drugs, although most were performed on immune-deficient murine models.

The expression of the protease fibroblast activation protein (FAP) on the surface of CAFs has made FAP a target for development of therapies to dampen immunosuppression. Relatively few biologics have been developed for FAP and none have been developed that exploit the unique engagement properties of Variable New Antigen Receptors (VNARs) from shark antibodies.

Background: Bladder cancer (BCa) is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, and its prognostication and treatment remains challenging. The fast growth of various cancer cells requires reprogramming of its energy metabolism using aerobic glycolysis as a major energy source. However, the prognostic and therapeutic value of glycolysis-related genes in BCa remains to be determined.

Background & Objectives: Hypoferritinemia without anemia (HWA) is an under-recognized public health concern. Early identification and targeted treatment of HWA can prevent unnecessary medication use and potential drug abuse. This study aims to establish clearer guidelines for recognizing and managing HWA, improving patient's outcome.
