Data are tabulated on the number of nomenclature current abbreviations, the occurence of multiple gene loci and corresponding polypeptide chains, and chromosomal assignment of 114 enzymes. Gene dose effect measurement is dependent upon several properties of the enzyme which are also listed: tissue and subcellular distribution, subunit number, interloci hybrids, genetic polymorphism, qualitative and quantitative methods of detection. The possibilities and limits of the concept of a gene-dose relationship, for the detection of carriers of chromosomal aberrations, and also for chromosomal assignment are discussed.

The aim of this study was to develop and validate a nomogram predicting progression-free survival (PFS) for adult patients with positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia(Ph + ALL) who have undergone allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT) and tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI) treatment. Data were retrospectively collected from 176 adult patients diagnosed with Ph + ALL and treated with allo-HSCT and TKIs at The First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, between January 2015 and May 2023. 70% of the patients were randomly assigned to the training group(n = 124) and 30% of the patients were assigned to the validation group(n = 52).

Meteorus pulchricornis Wesmael (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) is an important parasitoid of lepidopteran insects. So far, only three scaffold-level genomes have been published for the genus Meteorus. In this study, we present a high-quality, chromosome-level genome assembly of M.

Background: Noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) is increasingly used to screen for fetal chromosomal aneuploidy by analyzing cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in peripheral maternal blood. The method provides an opportunity for early detection of large genetic abnormalities without an increased risk of miscarriage due to invasive procedures. Commercial applications for use at clinical laboratories often take advantage of DNA sequencing technologies and include the bioinformatic workup of the sequence data.

The mammary epithelium has an inner luminal layer that contains estrogen receptor (ER)-positive hormone-sensing cells and ER-negative alveolar/secretory cells, and an outer basal layer that contains myoepithelial/stem cells. Most human tumours resemble either hormone-sensing cells or alveolar/secretory cells. The most widely used molecular classification, the Intrinsic classification, assigns hormone-sensing tumours to Luminal A/B and human epidermal growth factor 2-enriched (HER2E)/molecular apocrine (MA)/luminal androgen receptor (LAR)-positive classes, and alveolar/secretory tumours to the Basal-like class.
