Introduction: Pulpectomy has been a treatment of choice in all necrotic primary teeth. Advancing technology has brought the rotary system to reduce the manual dexterity and improve the quality of treatment for pulpectomy. Advancing technology in pediatric dentistry should be used for the better treatment protocol.
Aim: The aim of this study is to compare the obturation quality and instrumentation time after root canal instrumentation with rotary Kedo-S files, hand K-files, and H-files in primary molars.
Materials And Methods: A randomized control trial where pulpectomy was performed on 75 primary molars equally distributed for instrumentation with K-file, H-files rotary Kedo-S files, respectively. The instrumentation time and obturation quality were noted.
Results: Kedo-S files showed the least instrumentation time with better obturation quality as compared to other two groups (P < 0.001).
Conclusion: Pediatric rotary files Kedo-S has better obturation quality in minimum instrumentation time.

Background: Bleeding guidelines currently recommend use of viscoelastic testing (VET) to direct haemostatic resuscitation in severe haemorrhage. However, VET-derived parameters of clot initiation, such as clotting time (CT) and activated clotting time (ACT), might not adequately reflect a clinically relevant interaction of procoagulant and anticoagulant activity, as revealed by thrombin generation assays. The aim of this study was to evaluate the ability of CT and ACT to indicate thrombin generation activity.

Phased structures for lossless ion manipulation offer significant improvements over the scanning second gate method for coupling with ion trap mass analyzers. With an experimental run time of under 1 min for select conditions and an average run time of less than 4 min, this approach significantly reduces experimental time while enhancing the temporal duty cycle. The outlined SLIM system connects to an ion trap mass analyzer via a PCB stacked ring ion guide, which replaces the commercial ion optics and capillary inlet.

Detecting shielded special nuclear material, such as nuclear explosives, is a difficult challenge pursued by non-proliferation, anti-terrorism, and nuclear security programs worldwide. Interrogation with intense fast-neutron pulses is a promising method to characterize concealed nuclear material rapidly but is limited by suitable source availability and proven instrumentation. In this study we have pioneered a demonstration of such an interrogation method using a high-intensity, short-pulse, laser-driven neutron source that offers potential benefits compared to conventional neutron sources.

Robot-assisted surgery represents a significant innovation in reconstructive microsurgery, providing enhanced precision and reduced surgeon fatigue. This study examines the integration of robotic assistance in a series of 85 consecutive robot-assisted microsurgical (RAMS) operations. It aims to evaluate changes in the integration of RAMS during the implementation phase in a single institution.
