Necrotizing soft-tissue infections are a devastating infection that is rarely caused by spp. A 45-year-old obese previously healthy male presented to the emergency department with diabetic ketoacidosis. The patient developed systemic signs of infections and right medial thigh pain subsequently diagnosed as a necrotizing soft-tissue infection. Successful treatment included prompt surgical intervention and initiation of broad-spectrum antimicrobial drugs. may be the pathogen causing certain necrotizing soft-tissue infections. Clinicians should consider the possibility that this organism represents a true pathogen and not colonization/contamination.

Pleomorphic adenoma of the lacrimal gland (PALG) is a benign neoplasm typically presenting with gradual, painless globe displacement and/or lid swelling. We report an atypical case of PALG in a 53-year old male presenting acutely, mimicking orbital cellulitis. Imaging demonstrated an extraconal rim-enhancing soft-tissue lesion medial to the left lacrimal gland, involving superior rectus and levator palpebrae superioris.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a deadly yet rare soft tissue and skin infection that is usually diagnosed clinically. At times, clinical signs may betray the underlying etiology and masquerade as cellulitis in the early course of the disease. We report four cases with clinical suspicion of necrotizing fasciitis, some after the failure of therapy for cellulitis who underwent 18-F fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (18-F FDG PET/CT) showing the extent of the disease, showing subclinical sites of involvement in patients with necrotizing fasciitis on baseline scan as well as its role in assessing response to treatment using 18-F FDG PET/CT.

Introduction: As illicit drug manufacturers find new ways to market their products and increase their profit margins, multiple contaminants have found their way into the illicit drug supply. The newest addition, xylazine, also known as "tranq," has spread through the city of Philadelphia and has recently been gaining ground across the United States, including in the state of Florida.
Case Presentation: This case describes a 37-year-old male with a significant past psychiatric history of severe polysubstance intravenous (IV) use, including fentanyl and methamphetamine.

In most of the cases Interventional Radiology techniques and therapies are proposed for the management of symptomatic soft tissue benign tumors responsible for pain and/or compression symptoms aiming to offer a curative intent by means of tumor necrosis with subsequent symptoms' management and improvement of life quality. The ablative therapies include chemical, thermal and non-thermal approaches while, trans-arterial (chemo)embolization also has a distinct role. Adjunct ancillary techniques should be performed whenever necessary to increase efficacy and safety and avoid or reduce complications.

Dermal fillers comprising injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) are widely used for soft tissue augmentation, often using crosslinking agents such as 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) or poly (ethylene glycol) diglycidyl ether (PEGDE). Here, we assessed the physical properties, toxicity, and inflammatory reactions of HA fillers crosslinked with either BDDE (HA-BDDE filler) or PEGDE (HA-PEGDE filler) in in vitro and in vivo investigations. The HA-PEGDE filler exhibited higher G', tan δ, G*, and complex viscosity values compared to the HA-BDDE filler, while maintaining similar cohesivity.
