Accessory liver lobes are indeed morphological variations of the liver, representing additional lobes or smaller structures connected to the main liver mass. Beaver tail liver is a rare anatomic variation where the left lobe of the liver encroaches to enclose the spleen. These variants, often found by chance in patients, can create challenges in accurately distinguishing between the liver and spleen in imaging, potentially leading to misdiagnosis as splenic trauma or a subcapsular hematoma.

We report a typical illustration of Swept source OCT-Angiography (SS-OCT-A) findings in type 3 macular neovascularization(MNV) or retinal angiomatous proliferation (RAP). This is a case of a 70-year-old Caucasian male patient presenting with an exudative type 3 neovascular age-related macular degeneration. En face SS-OCT-A could non-invasively detect a tiny perifoveal circular "clew-like" high-flow neovascular lesion, visible in the deep capillary plexus, the outer retina and communicating with the choriocapillaris, with a perilesional dark halo and associated to no-flow macular cysts in the deep capillary plexus slab.

Objectives: Gastrointestinal bleeding, one of the main reasons for emergency department visits, is associated with significant mortality, complications, and high health care spending. Studies have shown the usefulness of hemodynamic monitoring by ultrasound of the inferior vena cava (IVC), imaging of systolic obstruction of the left ventricle (the kissing sign), changes in cardiac output, or surrogates for cardiac output such as the left ventricular velocity time integral before and after a passive leg raise. There is currently no evidence for applying this approach to evaluating hypovolemia due to gastrointestinal bleeding.

Objectives: Magnetic resonance imaging has proven to be a valuable tool in the assessment of disc abnormalities. Two types of disc extrusion can be described according to the direction of herniated disc material: shoulder type and axillary type. Axillary disc herniation is described when the extruded disc fragment lies in the recess between the lateral border of cauda equina and medial to the nerve roots, while in the shoulder type the disc lies lateral to the nerve roots.
