Introduction: The sense of smell is one of the most developed and important senses that forms the bond between the newborn and the mother and allows the newborn to reach the mother's breast. The sense of smell begins to form during intrauterine life, and the sense of smell can be a marking tool for a newborn baby, so that the baby can recognize both his mother and his immediate environment and develop his behaviour accordingly. This is necessary not only for feeding babies but also for them to feel safe and peaceful in their new environment.

Pomegranate has a unique composition of bioactive compounds including hydrolysable tannins, anthocyanins, and other polyphenolic components. Of those, punicalagin and its subsequent metabolites are the most extensively studied, demonstrating antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and anti-nociceptive activity.

Although government regulation is well recognized as a critical and essential function for ensuring the safety of MDs in many countries, the supplementary role that hospitals play is often neglected. This paper constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model involving the government, hospitals, and MDs enterprises to explore their strategic behaviors of MDs regulation in healthcare delivery.

Recent studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency may affect the deviation of bone development in children by mediating lipid metabolism disorders, but its specific mechanism of action has not been fully elucidated.

Lung cancer ranks as the most prevalent malignant neoplasm worldwide, contributing significantly to cancer-related mortality. Stemness is a well-recognized factor underlying radiotherapy resistance, recurrence and metastasis in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Our prior investigations have established the role of IQ motif containing GTPase-activating protein 3 (IQGAP3) in mediating radiotherapy resistance in lung cancer, but its impact on lung cancer stemness remains unexplored.
