In table tennis, motor skills are crucial for discriminating player level. However, there is a dearth of studies exploring the impact of a vibrational stimulus on performance. Thirty-four male players (age 25±2 years; body mass index, BMI 23.4±1.2 kg·m ) participated in the study. Seventeen played at international level (IL), while the remaining 17 played at national level (NL). The participants underwent a ball-handling test, the ball score, before (PRE) and after (POST) a vibrational stimulus. Intra-class correlation (ICC) for the ball score result showed good reliability (ICC 0.87 for IL and 0.80 for NL). Repeated measures ANOVA showed differences between groups for ball score (p=0.000) and a significant group×time interaction (p=0.004). Better performances were observed for the IL group than for the NL group, significantly only for POST. Vibration produced positive and negative effects in IL and NL groups, respectively.

Unlabelled: The purpose of this study was to assess the methodology for selecting sports talent in the Chilean Promising Athletes Program (CPAP).
Methods: The standing broad jump (SBJ), medicine ball chest throw (MBCT), thirty-meter running sprint (RS-30), Agility-T (T-test), and height were analyzed in 3060 schoolchildren from Chile, grouped by sex, age, geographical area (north, central and south) and maturity status at peak height velocity (PHV) in pre-, circa- and post-PHV.
Results: Superior differences were found in boys for all age ranges in SBJ, RS-30, T-test, and MBCT ( < 0.

Objective: To observe how cognitive behavioral intervention affects physical symptoms, B-type Natriuretic Peptide (BNP), Red Cell Distribution Width (RDW), and C-reactive Protein (CRP) in elderly patients with heart failure.
Methods: Convenient sampling method was used to select 98 elderly heart failure patients who visited our hospital from January 2022 to December 2020. Patients were divided into a control group and an observation group using the red and blue ball method, with 49 cases in each group.

Objectives: Sufficient gross motor skill proficiency is an essential prerequisite for the successful performance of sport-specific skills and physical activities. The Test of Gross Motor Development is the most common tool for assessing motor skills in paediatric populations, however, there is a lack of 'normative' data available against which children's scores can be compared. Normative data would enable the comparison of an individual's motor development to age-standardised norms.

Background: Instability resistance training (IRT) has been the focus of extensive research because of its proven benefits to balance ability, core stability, and sports performance for athletes. However, there is a lack of systematic reviews explicitly evaluating IRT's impact on athletes' balance ability. This study aims to conduct a systematic review of the effects of IRT on balance ability among athletes.

Background And Aim: In the context of gastrointestinal diseases, the role of monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL) is significant. Therefore, the objective of this study was to examine the protective effects of MAGL inhibition using JZL184 in rat models of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) and to explore its mechanism.
Methods: In this study, a rat model of SAP was established, and the rats were divided into three groups for treatment: the Control group (CON), the SAP group (SAP), and the SAP group treated with JZL184 (JZL184).
