We screened 583 chemicals for receptor binding activity to the human estrogen receptor (hER), the Japanese medaka estrogen receptor (medER), and the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) using the yeast two-hybrid assay. The substances tested included substances that could potentially be produced unintentionally by industrial processes, such as halogenated steroids and phenols. Antagonistic effects on hER and the androgen receptor were also screened. The test chemicals were selected for screening on the basis of chemical structure associated with possible estrogen receptor binding activity. The current study presents the report on the screening of 583 chemicals for different kinds of endocrine disrupting activity.

A new conjugate, 2-(4-(anthracen-9-yl) phenyl)-[1,2-d]imidazole-1H-anthraquninone (AQI) has been designed and synthesized as a molecular probe 4. The photophysical and electrochemical behavior of the probe in the absence and presence of different class of ions were examined in acetonitrile solution. The probe 4 with F- and CN- anions showed ratiometric fluorescence "turn - On" response due to variation in ICT processes.

The functionalization of the C-N bond of amines is a straightforward strategy for the construction of complex scaffolds or for the late-stage functionalization of pharmaceuticals. Herein, we describe a photoredox-catalyzed strategy for the deaminative alkylation of primary amine-derived isonitriles that provides unnatural amino acid derivatives under mild conditions. The use of silacarboxylic acids as silyl radical precursors enables the generation of carbon-centered radicals that allow the construction of Csp-Csp bonds via a Giese-type addition, avoiding the undesired hydrodeamination product.

To investigate the relationships and impacts between various occupational ergonomic hazards and hand and wrist fatigue, as well as work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) of the hand and wrist, and to propose targeted preventive and intervention measures for adverse occupational ergonomic factors causing WMSDs of the hand and wrist. From 2018 to December 2023, a nationwide epidemiologic survey study of wrist WMSDs was conducted using the Chinese version of the electronic questionnaire system for musculoskeletal disorders.A total of 88, 609 valid questionnaires were collected.

Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are crucial in regulating various physiological processes in the body. The overexpression of isoforms human carbonic anhydrases (hCA) IX and hCA XII is linked to tumour progression. The selective inhibition of CA IX and CA XII isoforms can result in the development of better cancer treatment strategies.
