Background: Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) procedures have become much more common in the United States in recent years, with >40,000 UKAs performed annually. However, it is estimated that 10% to 40% of UKAs fail and thus require conversion to total knee arthroplasty (TKA). In the field of total joint arthroplasty, robotic-assisted surgeries have demonstrated advantages such as better accuracy and precision of implant positioning and improved restoration of a neutral mechanical axis.

Purpose: To evaluate the contribution of ultrasound in the management of ballistic peripheral nerve injuries (BPNI).
Methods: Twenty-five Armenian soldiers who sustained BPNI of 44 different nerves during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in 2020 benefited from multidisciplinary team management including ultrasound examination.
Results: The injuries affected the upper limb in 17 cases (including 2 bilateral cases), the lower limb in 7 cases and both upper and lower limb in 1 case.

A 40-year-old patient underwent laparotomy at term gestation for a 25-cm lower abdominal mass arising from the lateral wall of the uterus, with an extensive secondary blood supply from the lower uterus and bladder, preventing access to the anterior lower uterine segment. The gravid uterus was exteriorised over the patient's thighs. A transverse posterior lower uterine segment hysterotomy was performed and a healthy 2920 g baby was delivered.
