Background: Pedicle screw insertion in posterior spinal surgery can cause vascular injuries, including rare intercostal artery pseudoaneurysms, which are typically discovered incidentally during reimaging. Onyx embolization is an effective treatment for small artery pseudoaneurysms.

Observations: A 36-year-old man who had initially presented with back pain that remained unresponsive to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs was diagnosed with a T7-8 sarcomatous lesion confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging and biopsy.

Superselective adrenal artery embolization (SAAE) has increasingly emerged as an alternative treatment for primary aldosteronism (PA) patients who either unwilling or unable to undergo surgical adrenalectomy, and cannot tolerate or refuse to mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs). Although SAAE has been applied in PA treatment for over two decades, its safety and efficacy are still uncertain due to absence of multi-center, randomized controlled trials, hindering its widespread clinical adoption. Currently, only a few centers could perform this procedure proficiently, leading to variability in technical protocols and clinical outcomes across different institutions.

This study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of α-n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate (NBCA) glue in comparison with traditional embolization materials for the treatment of acute renal hemorrhage. A total of 105 patients with the acute renal hemorrhage who underwent superselective renal artery embolization were enrolled. The patients were divided into two groups based on the embolization materials used: the traditional group (43 cases, control group) and the medical glue group (62 cases, observation group).

Background: Superselective adrenal artery embolization (SAAE) represents a novel therapeutic strategy for managing primary aldosteronism (PA). Currently, the evaluation of its efficacy is primarily restricted to clinical indicators, with a notable deficiency in imaging evaluation methodologies. In recent years, several studies have investigated the application of Ga-Pentixafor PET/CT for the classification of PA.

Objectives: This study aims to report on the application of degradable starch microspheres to provide flow diversion by means of temporary embolization of healthy tissues in oncological endovascular procedures when tumor feeding vessels are not selectively accessible.

Methods: This is a multicenter retrospective analysis of patients undergoing visceral embolization procedures of malignancies. The inclusion criteria were as follows: flow diversion performed by injection of degradable starch microspheres, visceral embolization procedures with unfeasible superselective catheterism of the target, and a malignant pathology.
