We propose a new recording system that employs a spherical wave and a toroidal wave to holographically record an aberration-reduced Rowland-circle spherical grating. Two more variables in this recording system are available for the design compared with a conventional symmetric dual-plane-wave recording system, which allows both the astigmatism and sagittal coma of the grating to be corrected to minimum. We derive the aberration coefficients of such grating and give the universal design principles for the recording system. An aberration-reduced grating used in a spectrometer equipped with linear array CCDs is then specifically designed and fabricated. The performances of the aberration-reduced grating and that of the conventional grating recorded by dual plane waves are compared in terms of the ray-tracing spot diagrams, and the photographed spectral images. The experimental results show that the spectral intensity of the aberration-reduced grating is about 4.5 times that of the conventional grating, while the resolution of the aberration-reduced grating is close to that of the conventional grating.

Despite the long-standing interest among labor and human resource scholars on this matter, relevant studies are limited and dated. This research investigates whether and how the interplay between HPWS and unions affects both organizational performance and employee well-being outcomes. The authors argue while unions may attenuate the HPWS effects on organizational performance due to decreased performance climate, the overall impacts of unions are likely beneficial, as they facilitate cooperative climate that contributes to organizational performance and enhances employee well-being, which positively affects longer term organizational outcomes.

Background: Global comparisons of the burden and impact of cancers of the brain and central nervous system (CNS) are critical for developing effective control strategies and generating etiological hypotheses to drive future research.

Methods: National incidence estimates were obtained from GLOBOCAN 2022, and recorded incidence data from the Cancer in Five Continents series, both developed and compiled by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. We examined the estimated age-standardized incidence rates in 185 countries, as well as time trends in recorded incidence in 35 countries, quantifying the direction and change in the magnitude of the rates using the estimated average percentage change (EAPC).

This study aims to demonstrate the effect of gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) on symptoms, hemorrhage rates, and histopathological changes in patients with cavernous malformations (CMs), regardless of whether the symptomatic lesions are hemorrhagic. This single-center retrospective study evaluated symptomatic patients with single CMs treated with GKRS between 2016 and 2023. The patients' demographic data, presenting symptoms, GKRS radiation dose, complications developed during follow-up (hemorrhage, radiotoxicity), the rate of symptom improvement, and histopathological changes of surgically removed CMs were recorded.
