Background: In the Kazakh community of Xinjiang, China, fermented camel milk has been traditionally used to manage diabetes. This study evaluates the effects of composite probiotics derived from fermented camel milk (CPCM) on metabolic disturbances in a rat model of Type 2 diabetes (T2DM).

The effects of wheat and oat dietary fiber (DF) alone or combined on T2DM remain unclear. In this research, / diabetic mice were fed with diets containing 10% insoluble wheat dietary fiber (WDF), 10% insoluble oat dietary fiber (ODF), and 10% WODF (mixture of WDF and ODF, WDF : ODF = 1 : 1) for 8 weeks. The results showed that WDF, ODF, and WODF all reduced the body weight and fasting blood glucose (FBG) and improved oral glucose tolerance in / mice.

Signet-ring cell carcinoma is a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with a high degree of malignancy, which rarely occurs in hilar bile duct. As far as I know, this is the third signet-ring cell carcinoma of hilar cholangiocarcinoma found so far. We used endoscopic ultrasound(EUS) and per-oral cholangioscopy(POCPS) to make a definite diagnosis.

This study aimed to clarify the protective effect of Glycyrrhizic acid (GL) against Diosbulbin B (DB) - induced liver injury in mice and investigate its mechanisms of action. A liver injury DB was established in mice through the oral administration of DB for 15 days. At the same time, GL was administered to the mice for treatment.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Emilia sonchifolia is a very widely used traditional Chinese medicine, with the efficacy of heat-clearing, detoxicating, dissipating blood stasis, reducing swelling and relieving pain. As a widely used traditional miao herb, Emilia sonchifolia is often used to treat upper respiratory tract infections, oral ulcer, pneumonia, mastitis, enteritis, bacillum, urinary tract infection, sores, eczema, falls and injuries, etc. In fact, many cases of liver injury caused by Emilia sonchifolia have been reported clinically.
