In this paper, taking fractional derivative due to Caputo and Fabrizo, we have investigated a biological model of smoking type. By using Sumudu transform and Picard successive iterative technique, we develop the iterative solutions for the considered model. Furthermore, some results related to uniqueness of the equilibrium solution and its stability are discussed utilizing the techniques of nonlinear functional analysis. The dynamics of iterative solutions for various compartments of the model are plotted with the help of Matlab.

In applied research, fractional calculus plays an important role for comprehending a wide range of intricate physical phenomena. One of the Klein-Gordon model's peculiar case yields the Phi-four equation. Additionally, throughout the past few decades it has been utilized to explain the kink and anti-kink solitary waveform contacts that occur in biological systems and in the field of nuclear mechanics.

: The accurate and early distinction of glioblastomas (GBMs) from single brain metastases (BMs) provides a window of opportunity for reframing treatment strategies enabling optimal and timely therapeutic interventions. We sought to leverage physiologically sensitive parameters derived from diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC)-perfusion-weighted imaging (PWI) along with machine learning-based methods to distinguish GBMs from single BMs. : Patients with histopathology-confirmed GBMs ( = 62) and BMs ( = 26) and exhibiting contrast-enhancing regions (CERs) underwent 3T anatomical imaging, DTI and DSC-PWI prior to treatment.

This manuscript proposes the Jellyfish Search Optimization (JSO) algorithm-based Fractional Order Proportional-Integral-Derivative (FOPID) controller tuning for a paper machine headbox. The novelty of this method lies in integrating the JSO technique for optimizing the parameters of the FOPID controller to monitor and control headbox pressure and stock level efficiently and effectively. The JSO algorithm ensures optimal tuning of controller parameters by minimizing error indices such as Integral of Squared Error (ISE), Integral of Time Absolute Error (ITAE), and Integral of Absolute Error (IAE).

The article discusses an improved memory-event-triggered strategy for H control class of fractional-order neural networks (FONNs) with uncertainties, which are vulnerable to deception attacks. The system under consideration is simultaneously influenced by external disturbances, network-induced time delays, uncertainties, and deception attacks. The suggested enhanced memory event-triggered framework enhances communications security measures and conserves network bandwidth compared to standard control strategies.
