This study analyses the panel data for the 19 countries of West Africa and employed the Grossman health production function, which is estimated using the regression model with Driscoll Kraay standard error and the robustness of the result is evaluated using Common Correlated Mean Group estimator. Current health expenditure, per capita income, and C02 emissions are significantly associated with an improvement in life expectancy and a reduction in under-5 mortality. Per capita income and fossil fuel are associated with significant reductions in mortality from chronic conditions.

In a baseline regression, this study first unveils the impact of investments in transportation infrastructure, agricultural value addition, and environment-related technologies on per capita CO emissions using CS-ARDL approach from 1990 to 2021 in the five most populous countries. Besides, this study also reveals the typical moderating effect of environment-related technologies in the link between transport infrastructure, agricultural value added and environmental hazards.

Changing land use is one of the main factors influencing global climate change and the imbalance in the carbon cycle. Consequently, the focus of international organizations and the academic community is on strategies to mitigate carbon emissions or improve carbon sequestration by optimizing land use structure and function. Since 2019, China's Zhejiang Province has implemented a township-level pilot policy, exploring a comprehensive land consolidation (CLC for short) pilot policy that includes all elements of "mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, and grasslands.

Advances in manufacturing and trade have reshaped global nitrogen deposition patterns, yet their dynamics and drivers remain unclear. Here, we compile a comprehensive global nitrogen deposition database spanning 1977-2021, aggregating 52,671 site-years of data from observation networks and published articles. This database show that global nitrogen deposition to land is 92.

Projections of future income distributions at subnational levels are becoming increasingly important for a variety of analyses and evaluations. However, relevant datasets are currently limited. This study presents a methodological framework that introduces machine learning algorithms to a top-down approach used for generating income distribution datasets.
