Objective: The dynamic and interactive mobile application Vett was designed to help change behaviour and is based on cognitive, motivational and visual techniques. Our aim is to investigate the acceptability, usability and utility of Vett as a personalised application for goal achievement.
Setting: The trial took place at the rheumatology clinic at Diakonhjemmet Hospital, Oslo, Norway from January to June 2015.
Participants: Twelve participants with osteoarthritis were recruited from a 3.5-hour multidisciplinary group-based educational programme (osteoarthritis school).
Interventions: With the help of a physician, each participant followed a customised 12-week mixed-mode goal achievement plan with digital support based on preset goals, self-monitoring and individual feedback. Acceptability was measured as the perceived degree of goal achievement using a validated habit questionnaire scaled from 0 to 100. Utility and usability were assessed via 10 weekly questions and adherence by fulfilment of predetermined tasks.
Results: Mean goal achievement was 73 (95% CI 68 to 78), an increase of 22 (95% Cl 17 to 26, p<0.01), which equals 48% improvement (95% CI 32% to 59%). Mean user satisfaction was 81 (95% CI 76 to 85), and technical usability was 80 (95% CI 75 to 84), which both increased during the study period.
Conclusion: The high levels of acceptability, usability and utility support the feasibility of the personalised application Vett as a viable goal achievement tool.

Background: Many transgender women with HIV achieve suboptimal advancement through the HIV Care Continuum, including poor HIV health care usage, retention in HIV medical care, and rates of viral suppression. These issues are exacerbated by comorbid conditions, such as substance use disorder, which is also associated with reduced quality of life, increased overdose deaths, usage of high-cost health care services, engagement in a street economy, and cycles of incarceration. Thus, it is critical that efforts to End the HIV Epidemic include effective interventions to link and retain transgender women in HIV care through full viral suppression.

Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is a leading cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide, linked to numerous health, economic, and human rights outcomes. Target 5.2 of the Sustainable Development Goals calls for elimination of all forms of VAWG; however, progress toward achieving this goal has been inadequate.

Lateral pelvic lymph node dissection (LPLND) for rectal adenocarcinoma is an established treatment modality for selected patients with abnormal lateral pelvic lymph nodes on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) imaging. The goal of this treatment is to achieve a true R0 resection, including lymphadenectomy, with the aim of improving patient oncological outcome, potentially at the expense of surgical and functional complications. However, there remain several areas of controversy resulting from a distinct lack of clarity regarding effective patient selection, lymph node size criteria, the role and extent of routine neoadjuvant treatment versus surgery alone in selected cases, the impact on patient survival metrics and whether the existing data are even valid in the era of total neoadjuvant therapy (TNT).

The need for standardized criteria in partner and child maltreatment response systems is critical for providing fair decisions, allocating family support, producing reliable research findings, and aiding prevention efforts, among other tasks. The primary goal of this study was to replicate Heyman and Slep's (see record 2009-23534-017) study-whether maltreatment incident determination committee decisions of local sites matched those of master reviewers. This study extended the prior work by testing if specific training techniques (i.

This work involves the preparation of dual surrogate-imprinted polymers (D-MIPs) for the capture of SARS-CoV-2. To achieve this goal, an innovative and novel dual imprinting approach using carboxylated-polystyrene (PS-COOH) nanoparticles with a diameter of 100 nm and a SARS-CoV-2 Spike-derived peptide was carried out at the surface of amine-functionalized silica (PS-NH) microspheres with a diameter of 500 nm. Firstly, PS-COOH nanoparticles with the same size and spherical shape as the SARS-CoV-2 virus were employed to form hemispherical indentations (HI) at the surface of the PS-NH microspheres (obtaining dummy particle-imprinted polymers, HI-MIPs).
